   a few weeks ago, i was thinking
about home, and old customs,
that i both miss, and highly value,
here's what came to mind--

   women and children first...
sounds cool, because it's the
right thing--

   so, why is it these days i'm always
seeing them last in line, where are the
gents, the dudes with the sack to stand
and wait, for noble reasons... gentlemen...
   the guy that knows, having grace,
and good manners, takes great strength
and good nerves--
   throughout history, the man most loved,
and lusted after, has been a brute, with a
princes charm--
 --be tough, act smooth, keep it real--
