--a day to remember(sept 11)--

  i noticed the date today, and had these thoughts,
and some feelings--

sept-11...

   a day of great loss, when hard feelings, and ill-
intentions met an engineering marvel, filled with
our best and brightest...no good point was made,
instead a ball was started rolling, that has yet to
find level...heavy loss, created unyielding intent, 
that terror shall not rule the land...

  having issues with my blog today, more in a moment--

bloomington today--

  still no word about the arrival of my manuscript at my publisher...i am starting
 to worry it did not get there, a call about it's location/status would be a comfort--

  having trouble working on my blog
lately, the library keeps blocking my
phone(making login not possible)--


  too much control can be a problem

   something i was thinking yesterday, about one of the
universal ways we relate to each other--

 the language of love,
   the words are less the point, as the tone--
heart-felt words, even if miss-spoken, often ring
true...if the person you are speaking to loves you well,
the best of what you said will be heard--
  so, tell those you love, that you do, as openly,
and often, as you can--

  looks like i will be needing legal representation,
for an issue that developed a few weeks back, i
will have to make payments, or a slightly more than
pro-bono fee...

--straightening up--

    i'm straightening up any type-o's, and doing a
final edit on my blog as of late, i keep having issues
with the cursor not showing at times--
   i want my writing to look, and read well,
i suggest there may be a bug in the editing proggie
that you have...

--breaking bread--

    something i wrote at church last sunday,
when i was enjoying some coffee and doughnuts, while
pondering an old custom, with great meaning, here goes--

  breaking bread...

      togetherness, a basic necessity for a sound mind,
and a strong body, yes, we can live alone, but most thrive
amongst others who value them, and wither when with
enemies, or nay-sayers--

  being good company, brings good company closer...
be yourself, forget the past, and try to remember the good
deeds done, in your favor--

  a chance encounter with my plant-sitter today,
i was very surprised, no word about my leafy companion
though, perhaps my plant has wilted beyond mention...

   no worrys, wilty had one branch in the waist-basket when
we first met anyway...but, i hope this is not the case, and wilty
is well watered, with good light, plus a few kind words--

   despair...a lack, of many things, mainly positive
thinking, brought about by sustained rough
conditions(an unofficial websters definition)--


   where are you going, and what do you think there
will be when you get there...what, and how, you feel, can
be greatly affected by whom you are touched--

   stay out of the reach of unhappy others, find joy in what
small things you can, from your actions, and your intentions...
   wait not for these things from others, but take it upon yourself,
with a clear head, and a strong back, to make a world of difference,
 to all--
      --stay sharp, keep fit, make good decisions--

neither is in harmony--
  be yourself, instead of who a broken person wants you to be...

     stay centered, react well, in a genuine way that fits the moment,

  fixing what's broken... sometimes means
putting something that's fallen to pieces in
front of the right person, with the right hands,
whom has great patience, and a deep understanding
of what's being saved--

   the only one, that can see how much more,
the special thing in need has left to offer...once righted--

   a few weeks ago, i was thinking
about home, and old customs,
that i both miss, and highly value,
here's what came to mind--

   women and children first...
sounds cool, because it's the
right thing--

   so, why is it these days i'm always
seeing them last in line, where are the
gents, the dudes with the sack to stand
and wait, for noble reasons... gentlemen...
   the guy that knows, having grace,
and good manners, takes great strength
and good nerves--
   throughout history, the man most loved,
and lusted after, has been a brute, with a
princes charm--
